The Duraglaze ‘T’ Trapezoid range offers a competitively priced glass rooflight without compromising quality. The design achieves maximum daylight due to the minimalistic frame work finish which is barely visible from the internal of the building, the units are very easy to install and require very little maintenance other than periodic cleaning.
Offered in a range of high quality glass options, such as self-cleaning and solar controlled, the Duraglaze boasts a superb part ‘L’ compliant roof glazing solution at a very competitive cost.
The typical composition of standard glass for the Duraglaze ‘T’ is 4mm clear toughened outer glass / 12mm argon cavity / 6.4mm clear laminated low ‘E’ inner glass.
The Duraglaze ‘P’ range has been designed to be installed into flat roof applications and offer a universal daylight solution for both residential and commercial projects. Fixing to a prepared roof upstand. The glazing is secured by way of bonding the glass to the framework and finishes with a perimeter silicone seal to the external glass and frame edges (to ensure good air tightness an internal perimeter foam tape is applied to the internal perimeter frame under the glass surface) the unit is then encapsulated with slimline perimeter flashings to finish.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the rooflight size purchased is suitable for the intended installation. All measurements given from the product selector are overall frame sizes where applicable so a minimum of 25mm deduction should be made when building the roof upstand (inclusive of waterproofing membrane) to allow a reasonable tolerance around the perimeter of the rooflight frame.
